Hello, I’m Delphine Garcia, a London-based music teacher and multi-instrumentalist (piano, ukulele, voice, accordion). I work with young learners to adults, building solid musicianship and confidence at the keyboard, and supporting exam goals including ABRSM.
I specialise in early years, music theory, and piano. My sessions are dynamic and age-appropriate, balancing clear structure with creativity so students stay engaged and progress steadily.
I tailor lessons to each student: I create my own learning helpers, music cards, pattern-recognition games, and ear-training activities, and write personalised arrangements to keep motivation high.
Choral work and accompaniment are part of my toolkit. I’ve led children’s choir sessions and conduct ensembles, which keeps my teaching practical, collaborative, and performance-focused.
I trained in France, earning the State Diploma in Music Teaching, with further studies in piano accompaniment and music theory at the conservatoires of Bayonne and Bordeaux.
I moved to London in 2020, spent 2022–2024 in France for family reasons, and I’m now back—focused on helping young musicians (and their parents) find joy, focus, and real progress in music.
When I’m not teaching, I’m performing (Scottish Choir vocalist, keys in a London cover band, and piano accompaniment) and creating arrangements across classical, folk, and pop.
